Mother/Daughter Bible Study

Today we hosted our bi-monthly mother/daughter Bible study. We are studying a book by Elizabeth George, A Young Woman's Walk With God. I was struck, once again today, at the privilege of being with a group of women and young ladies who desire to display the fruits of the spirit in their lives. Today's topic was goodness. The following quote is taken from the study guide:

The supreme test of goodness is not in the greater but in the smaller incidents of our character and practice; not what we are when standing in the searchlight of public scrutiny, but when we reach the firelight flicker of our homes; not what we are when some clarion-call rings through the air, summoning us to fight for life and liberty, but our attitude when we are called to sentry-duty in the grey morning, when the watch-fire is burning low.
~F.B. Meyer

What we served: White cake with orange jello glaze and whipped topping (refreshing!), zucchini-chocolate chip muffins, vegetables with humus dip

Drinks: Lemonade, cold green tea lemonade, coffee, tea
